ALTITUDE ELECTRIC ROOF TOP TENT

ARB has seen vehicle-based camping come a long way from traditional canvas tarps & lean to setups to some contemporary designs. Despite this evolution, most rooftop solutions today still face shortcomings in accessibility and cumbersome, manual set-ups and pack-downs, especially in having to climb up to tuck in canvas. Recognizing this need for a more premium camping experience before needing to tow something, ARB has drawn on almost 50 years of engineering knowledge, manufacturing experience, and thousands of kilometers of offroad testing to deliver a solution. The ARB Altitude enables off-grid living with convenience, comfort, and safety by improving access and automating set up & pack down.

• Lighting and tent controls are easily & externally accessible from both sides
• An innovative internal storage solution houses the ladder within the top shell of the tent
• Ladder accessible via rear hatch & secured via 2x lockable D-handles
• Spring-loaded access hatch automatically holds open for easy ladder retrieval
• The ladder stored on aluminum internal frame with guides to ensure correct, robust storage every time

OPERATION

• Completely automated operation powered by 2x quality ARB electronic actuators on each side
• Raising and lowering are made possible through the engineered steel scissor mechanism.
• Simple push-button operation. With a single touch to start, the tent opens and closes on its own.
• The actuator & tent control unit internalised for long-term durability and protection from the elements
• Manual emergency release designed for worst-case scenarios, enabling the actuators to be bypassed and manually lifted.
• Multiple mounting solutions exist. Altitude includes universal folded brackets for BASE Rack & cross bar fitments. Vehicle-specific blade solutions are also optionally available for select vehicles removing the need for a roof rack
• Super heavy-duty 380GSM ‘Rhinotuff’ polycotton plain weave canvas (requires weathering before first use)
• Fire Retardant canvas compliant to ASTM F3431-21
• Quality insect-proof mesh windows & doors
• 360* panoramic views embraced with corner windows & side doors sewn throughout
• Glow-in-the-dark door zips for easy access at night

• Altitude includes a 3m Anderson-Anderson lead
• Best connected to an Anderson plug at the rear of the vehicle if fitted or a hard-wired solution to the battery
